Sunday Morning Report Jan 21

Temps are up but so is the south wind, seemed easterly actually. Just made it colder than it had to be. Hard to take pictures when your hand is so cold. But got a few. I think about this picture as having a lot in it, but maybe too much to be of any interest to anyone but me. Does it need an anchor somewhere? Don’t know. I still like it, and that counts for a lot. Makes me realize that if you were out there with me, you might value it more. But you weren’t, which is true of the vast majority of pictures. And that leads to the more important point. If you were not out there with me, but the picture makes you feel like you were, well that is worth quite a bit. My story becoming your story, as it were. That might be extra important in photos.

Saw Abby, mom had a conversation with her before she took off on the south shore. Feathers from a Coot left in the snow. Picked up mom’s cleats where they came off her boots in the deep now before the point. Made it back in one piece. Think I saw a Dove, not sure. Some ice fisherman chasing their tents in the wind. And some nice sunrising.
