From my research;
Wild animals are versed at rebounding from a storm, fire, or flood—all of which are natural fallouts—responding to them with gestures toward vigorous new creations, as in a new eyrie. Animals have a tougher time coming back from the assaults of humankind, in part because the aftereffects—poison or invasion—often linger and slam the door to creation. Still, as long as animals are not polluted or shot out of a healthy habitat, they can generally tolerate the presence of the human species. It’s humans who take less kindly to coexistence.
